The economic effect is that the department generates revenue from auction of fruit trees yearly, deadwood of trees, from sale of plants of nursery in the premises. From the point of education, skill development training is provided at fruit preservation lab to school, college students, iti students etc. And aesthetically, the 200 years Approx. old well maintained fern house and red kota stone fountains surrounded by palms attracts tourism and a view of sight. Additionally, the gardens attract morning walkers from 4am till 8 pm in the evening, Monthly drama shows, nukad nataks, marathon for senior citizens, free medical check up camps, Yoga groups practices, open gym for public, badminton net for playing, swings for children and bhangra/gidha practices for new learners.
