Keeping in view the changing weather conditions and their impact on muskmelon cultivation, experts from the Department of Horticulture, Punjab visited farmers’ fields and guided them regarding proper crop management practices. Farmers were advised on preventive measures, irrigation management, and protection techniques to minimize crop damage and maintain quality production.

The department also encouraged farmers to remain in regular contact with agricultural experts and adopt scientific recommendations to tackle seasonal challenges effectively.
