The Department of Horticulture, Sangrur, under the National Beekeeping and Honey Mission (NBHM), organized a two-day district-level seminar to raise awareness among farmers about the potential of scientific beekeeping. The aim is to promote beekeeping as a profitable allied agricultural activity that not only increases farmers’ income but also significantly boosts crop production through improved bee pollination.

This program provides a platform for farmers to learn from experts about the latest Beekeeping technique. Beekeeping is emerging as a key driver of agriculture sustainability and a good source of income for the farmers.
