The National Horticulture Board has released the updated Cluster Development Programme (CDP) Guidelines dated 8th April 2025.
The CDP aims to strengthen the horticulture value chain by improving infrastructure, boosting farmer income, promoting modern technologies, and enhancing market access.
The guidelines outline key components such as eligibility criteria, project award process, pattern of assistance, evaluation matrix, and fund release structure (as detailed across the presentation pages). The programme focuses on developing competitive, sustainable horticulture clusters through pre-production support, post-harvest management, logistics, marketing, and value addition.
This initiative is expected to significantly uplift farmers, enterprises, and institutions involved in horticulture by promoting scientific farming practices and integrated value chain development.
